Our client, a leading Ventilation Contractor and Heavy Engineering Specialist based in Hertfordshire, has been established since the 1980s. They boast an in-house manufacturing facility and a skilled design team, with a workforce of 100 employees. Their business thrives on strong, long-term client relationships and a steady order book for the upcoming years.
We are tasked with finding a motivated, dedicated, and technically proficient MEP Commercial Director to join their team. This role will involve overseeing all commercial aspects of projects and reporting to an experienced Commercial Executive, known for mentoring top commercial talent.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial elements of projects valued between �1m to �15m, focusing on life sciences and healthcare sectors, including fit-out projects.
• Ensure compliance with JCT and NEC contracts at Tier 1 and 2 levels.
• Promote business development and client engagement, emphasising in-house manufacturing and design capabilities.

Requirements:

• Strong MEP background, ideally with mechanical expertise, though electrical expertise will also be considered.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering sectors.
• Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts at Tier 1 and 2 levels.
