We are looking for a visionary Merchandising Director who will be responsible for developing and executing merchandising initiatives to maximize sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and brand positioning, coupled with strong leadership skills to inspire and mentor the merchandising team. THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE RELOCATION TO DUBAI.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and achieve financial targets.Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of product assortment with brand vision and market demand.Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and inform assortment planning.Lead the creation of seasonal product assortments, including product selection, pricing, and inventory management.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and negotiate favorable terms.Oversee visual merchandising initiatives to create compelling product presentations and enhance the customer shopping experience.Provide leadership and direction to the merchandising team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Monitor and evaluate sales performance, inventory levels, and product mix to optimize assortment and drive profitability.Stay informed about industry developments, emerging trends, and consumer preferences to inform merchandising strategies.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency within the merchandising function.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.Proven experience in fashion merchandising, with a minimum of 8 years in a leadership role within the fashion industry.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to make informed merchandising decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to achieve goals.Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation in merchandising.Proficiency in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
