Turner Lovell is currently seeking experienced HV Fitters to join our client's team working on renewable energy projects throughout South Wales. This specific role is based in Swansea, Wales, with a project duration of approximately 3 months. You will be involved in various electrical installation activities, including new builds, extensions to existing infrastructure, and high-voltage projects Duties:Installation of earthing systemsErection of steelwork to pre-defined designMeasuring and installing busbar and clampsBuilding and setting of disconnectors, installation of MV and power equipment (switchgear, CT's, VT's, LV)Understand RAMS, SHEQ procedures and attend tool-box talksRequirements:Tickets required for the position: CCNSG/CSCS - Safety Passport, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, National Grid AuthorisationsFurther qualification (HNC, HND, Degree, apprenticeship, NVQ) - desirable Experience working on a project in a H&S critical environmentAbility to work both independently and within a teamWillingness to learn, communicate and uphold SHEQ / other required standards, whilst on siteKnowledge as well as working experience of fitting regulations (Fitter)If you are looking to be involved in your next major renewable energy project as an HV Fitter, please apply & contact Cameron Reardon for further information -
