Metal Polisher

An engineering firm in Halstead, Essex, are looking for a metal finisher to join their team! The successful candidate will some experience working with hand tools such as grinders and polishers.

You will be working in the final assembly department to ensure projects are ready for painting or assembly. You will get the parts ready and use a variety of skills to get them ready for their final stage.

The hourly rate will be around �12ph dependant on previous metalwork experience. The hours for the role are 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday plus a 15:30 finish on Friday.

Metal Finisher duties:

• Using power tools such as grinders
• Fettling, deburring and polishing metal parts
• Getting parts together using technical drawings
• Ensure all tools used are in a good condition and kept clean

You will need to have some experience within a metalwork environment maybe from college or a similar work environment, and be able to work from drawings.
