MFL Teacher (French and Spanish)

We are currently working with a school in Telford to recruit for an MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) from September!

Set in Telford and Wrekin, this mixed secondary school, and sixth form has almost 1000 students on roll. With a strong community feel, the school aims to promote a feeling of value for each pupil whilst encouraging them to reach the very best of their potential.

The school was rated “Good” by Ofsted at their last inspection!

About the role:

Subject: MFL (French and Spanish)

Timetable: Full time

Start: September

Duration: Ongoing – at least a term

Key stage: KS3/KS4

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Experience in teaching French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 pupils


• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for languages.


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Ability to differentiate teaching methods to cater to varying student needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons tailored to the diverse needs and abilities of students aged 11-16.


• Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and academic achievement.


• Assess student progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback.


• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, and behaviour, in accordance with school policies and procedures.
