School Staff Direct is working with a well-established and high-achieving secondary school in Essex that is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled French Teacher to join their team in April 2025. This is a fantastic long-term opportunity, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

• Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons


• Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum to drive student progress


• Create an inclusive, positive learning environment that inspires a love of language learning


• Collaborate with colleagues in the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes

About You:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent with experience teaching French up to GCSE level


• A passion for languages and the ability to motivate and engage learners of all abilities


• Excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
