📍 South West London (Hybrid - 4 Days Home, 1 Day Office for Duty)
Are you an experienced Mental Health Social Worker looking for a role with flexibility and professional growth? A local authority in South West London is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their Mental Health Reviews Team.
About the Role:
As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in assessing and reviewing the social care needs of adults with less complex mental health needs, helping them achieve independence and improved well-being. You will undertake initial mental health assessments and work closely with individuals to ensure they receive the right support.
🔹 Hybrid Working - Work 4 days from home and attend the office 1 day a week for duty.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Conduct strength-based assessments to promote independence and well-being
✔ Undertake Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments and apply relevant legislation
✔ Lead on complex casework and provide supervisory support to junior staff
✔ Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to develop personalised care plans
✔ Ensure compliance with the Care Act 2014, Mental Health Act, and safeguarding procedures
What We're Looking For:
✅ Social Work England registration (essential)
✅ Extensive Mental Health Social Work experience
✅ Strong knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and ability to complete MCA assessments
✅ Supervisory experience and ability to support junior team members
✅ An Enhanced DBS check will be required
