The Role: As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, deploying, migrating, and documenting cloud solutions for our clients. Your primary focus will be on designing architectures and implementing project work to best practices, along with monitoring system performance, troubleshooting & rationalisation of legacy systems. Collaboration and communication with all key stake holders to deliver high-quality cloud solutions & services. This role requires a deep understanding of Cloud technologies and a passion for staying up to date with the latest advancements in the cloud computing domain. Architect and design predominantly Microsoft cloud (Azure/M365) solutions that align with clients' business requirements and security standards. Implement manage & migrate Cloud resources (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS & M365 environments), including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, Exchange Online, End Point Manager (Intune & Autopilot). Migrate on-premises systems, applications and services to the cloud using best practices and minimizing downtime. Collaborate with software development teams where required to ensure seamless integration of applications with the Cloud platform. Implement and enforce security measures, identity management, and access controls in a cloud environment. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot, consolidate & rationalise to optimise client solutions. Automate repetitive tasks and processes using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other automation tools. A working knowledge of large-scale client deployment including automation & management methods. Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies for Cloud-based environments. Stay updated with the latest Microsoft Cloud services and features and evaluate their potential benefits to our clients. Stay up to date in terms of required certification paths. Document system configurations, procedures, for handover to internal teams to support. Provide technical support and guidance to other PS team members and assist in developing their skills. Experience: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 3 years working in a Professional Services MSP setting. 5 years experience in Microsoft Cloud Desirable Certificates (Must be current and in date) Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert Microsoft Azure Security Technologies Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect What They Offer: Hybrid Working (3 days in/2 days out) after successful probation period which is 3months.
