The Middleware team are a key component of the wider IT Team. This is an exciting time to join a growing business function.  

More about your role 

Reporting to the Head of Middleware, The Middleware Engineering Manager will play a key role in the build and development of the engineering team. 

Leading a team of Middleware Engineers, of varying experience, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of our roadmap. As well as being accountable for technical quality assurance of engineering designs and builds, you will also be responsible for implementing effective engineering practices to ensure that the team is able to deliver effectively and efficiently. 

More about you 

Working closely with the Principal Integrations Engineer, you will lead on the development and maintenance of the engineering capability for the organisation. Performance metrics will be formulated and you will also ensure the creation of Middleware Low Level Design in compliance with standards. 
In addition, you will provide quality assurance of engineered solutions delivered by the team.

Experience & Skills

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high developing teams as well as a strong technical understanding.

The successful candidate will have experience in:

• Leading successful engineering teams, 


• Middleware concepts such as Integration, Topology, Patterns and Standards, 


• Risk Management, identification and documentation, 


• Data Integration and Middleware Delivery, 


• Working with Low-code Middleware platforms such as Boomi
