MIG/TIG Welder

Our client based in Elland, Halifax are looking to recruit a MIG&TIG welder on a temporary ongoing basis, there is also a possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate. The main purpose of the role will be to weld their products using MIG / TIG method, assisting their team to help maintain a smooth production process.

THE ROLE:

• MIG Welding to a high standard


• TIG Welding experience would be advantageous but not essential


• Production style welding, working in own welding booth


• Producing batch work


• Reporting to weld supervisor.


• Fabricate and weld components as per technical drawings.


• Single and multi runs.


• Fast paced environment.


• Use of hand tools


• Working as part of a team

THE CANDIDATE:

• Must be able to MIG and TIG weld, experience is essential


• Must have good fabrication knowledge


• Be able to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment


• Experience in thin gauge materials(1mm-6mm)

THE SALARY AND BENEFITS:

• �12.07 per hour


• 7:00 - 17:15 Monday to Thursday, Fridays paid at time and one half


• Free car parking


• Temporary ongoing contract, high chance of contract but not guaranteed
