MIG Welder

MIG Welders - Daventry - upto �16.50ph + package
Roc Search's client are urgently seeking 4x MIG Welders to join their growing team in Daventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for working on a variety of components working from engineering drawings. The majority of the welding will be on mild steel.
To be considered you will have the following experience:

• Set, operate and maintain the MIG and TIG Welder machines and related tools and equipment
• MIG Welding with mild steel mainly
• Read and interpret engineering drawings in order to lay out a welding project
• Test and inspect welded surfaces to ensure compliance with customer's specifications
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometres and calipers to inspect the parts
• Diagnose issues and troubleshoot as and when required
• Some general fabrication duties such as cut and smooth metal components, using plasma cutters, portable grinders etc., bore holes through metal work pieces using drill press

Hours:

• 7:00am to 5:15pm, Monday to Thursday.
• 7:00am to 1pm, Fridays.
