Milling CNC Setter

Position: CNC Setter (Milling)
Location: Dudley
Employment Type: Full-Time
Hourly Rate: �14.50 to �16.50 dependant on experience
Shift: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.15pm Fridays 8am to 3.30pm

About the Role:
As a CNC Setter (Milling), you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients production runs efficiently, with a focus on precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to achieve high-quality production runs
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce components that meet requirements
• Conduct tool changes, offsets, and adjustments
• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot issues
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter, specifically with milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of machining principles and best practices.
• Knowledge of Pumas, Doosan, Daewoo, Mynx or Kitamura (or other relevant CNC controls).
• Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
