Duration: 12 Months
Rate: £60 ph PAYE + Holiday pay or £79.19 Umbrella
Location: Warton or Brough, 3 days a week on site
Inside IR35

This roles sits within the Through Life Services team of the Future Combat Air System – Acquisition Programme (FCAS AP) Programme, where the individual will work within a team to develop concept options for the future mission enablement solutions for FCAS AP. This covers all off board aspects of the Mission system needed to support a multi system solution and will develop from initial Concepting work into detailed solution design and integration. The individual will be able to work across multiple elements of the Mission Enablement Scope, working integrally with the customer and partner base (both domestic and international). There will be opportunity to work internationally and the exciting opportunity to develop with the programme to work within different cultural environments.

The individual will be supported to work across the work packages and specialist areas of the mission domain both on and off programme to bring best practice into the solutions. It is expected the individual will be able to self start and initiate work independently, working as part of an agile based team where they will very much have a voice in how the tasks are developed and undertaken.

Your skills and qualifications:
• Systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab)
• Experience of developing mission systems and associated domain knowledge
