The team uses an agilework planning process to develop mission system concept options,architectures, and designs for the various components of a futurecombat air system. The role will also requireyou: ul li Deliver advanced mission systemsengineering capabilities to our customers while developing andevolving the technologies Lead andsupport team meetings / DSUMs / Agilereviews Manage /help / direct less experienced Systems Engineers, e.g. anapprentice Manage the creation of Engineeringdocuments that form part of the Systems Engineering process /li /ul p b Your skills and experiences: /b /p Essential: ul li A degree in a STEM subject orequivalent relevantexperience Systems engineering and engineeringlifecycle experience /li li Knowledge of systems engineering methodsand tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD,Matlab) Experience of developing mission systemsand associated domain knowledge /li /ul p Desirable /p ul li Some experience of working in anagile environment /li li Experience of managingengineers Presentationskills /li /ul p b Benefits: /b /p You’ll receive benefitsincluding a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leaveallowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan. This specialised team delivers advancedmission systems engineering capabilities to our customers whiledeveloping and evolving the technologies that will defend the UKfor generations. Subject matter experts, systems architects andsystems engineers are required in the following areas:Survivability, Cockpit/HMI, Stores Management,Communications, Navigation, Sensors and Non-Kinetic Effects,Electronic Warfare, EM Interop, Safety, Health Management, MissionManagement, On-board Computing and CyberSecurity. Theseroles are UK-based and mostly in the North of England but some ofyour time may be based from home with regular working from our homebases of Warton/Brough and potentially at other BAE Systemslocations throughout the UK.
