Nestled in one of Britain’s most beautiful market towns, our client’s friendly, family-run practice is seeking a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join the team. The practice embodies the spirit of the Yorkshire Dales, where they believe in treating every animal with the utmost care, respect, and kindness. The practice is deeply rooted in the local community and are proud to provide a broad range of services for all creatures, great and small.

Salary


  • £34,000 – 55,000
  • The exact salary within this banding will be awarded commensurate on experience.

Location - Richmond

The Practice


  • Independent, mixed veterinary practice; small animal, equine and farm.
  • Their mixed vets are approximately 55% small animal and 45% large animal.
  • Each vet has 1-2 ops mornings a week.
  • Excellent retention rates.
  • This is a well-established 12-vet practice, with the potential to expand to 13 vets in the near future.
  • Single site – working from one location has fostered a close-knit collaborative environment.

Your Role


  • A qualified mixed Veterinary Surgeon with a valid license to practice in the UK,
  • There is flexibility to tailor the role towards your clinical interests/bias but generally speaking you should be happy working on all species
  • There is a requirement for OOH
  • A passion for delivering high standards of clinical care and customer service.
  • A team player who thrives in a supportive and collaborative environment.
