Mixing Operative Temp to Perm Bridgwater
Job Solutions Ltd are delighted to be assisting our long term client with their recruitment for a long term Mixing Operative to join their growing, professional team.
Daily Duties will include:- Operating equipment:Operate mixing equipment to blend ingredients according to formulas
Monitoring and adjusting:Monitor and adjust the blending process to ensure consistent product quality
Maintenance:Perform regular maintenance on mixing equipment
Troubleshooting:Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the mixing equipment
Record keeping:Keep accurate records of production activities
Cleaning:Clean mixers and material systems for product changes and shutdowns
Safety:Maintain a safe working environment for self and others
Documentation:Ensure all relevant paperwork is up to date
Working practices:Ensure that required standards of working practices are consistently met
Personal protective equipment:Wear and correctly use the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Essential Skills: Good English speaking and written
Good arithmetic
Attention to detail
Physically fit and very aware of manual handling requirements for a role that involves heavy and awkward lifting
Used to and familiar with working as part of a team
Used to working in manufacturing production warehouse environment
Previous experience using pallet trucks

Desirable: Previous experience in Chemical industry
COSHH awareness
Forklift and pallet truck experience
