About the role of Mobile Engineer

We are looking a Mobile Engineer who's bias is in combustion maintenance. Our client is looking for someone who has strong knowledge of Building services as you will not just be carrying out tasks within your trade skill sets. The building are all commercial based but some are on the smaller side so they have a standard domestic boiler. This means both commercial and domestic knowledge is needed.

The patch is roughly made up of greater London and home counties areas but they do have sites at the extremities of the SE patch hence the size.

Responsibilities for the Mobile Technician

• Emergency light testing.
• Water temperature monitoring.
• Tap temperature
• Plant room checks (inc pump inspections).
• Small plumbing works.
• FCU servicing.
• AHU servicing.
• First call reactive tasks.
• Resident site cover as required.

Requirements for Mobile Technician

• Commercial gas qualification
• Gas purging experience
• Knowledge on boilers
• good understanding of compliance

What we offer for the Mobile Technician

• Salary �46,000 to �48,000
• Call out - 1 in 10 subject to change (we pay �130 per week as a retainer for being on call (there is a uplift for weeks which have bank holidays) with 4 hour Minimum paid at the relevant OT rate or door to door if they go over 4 hours. This could be a call from anywhere within the SE patch.)
