CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial fabric maintenance across a retail contract based in the RG postcode area. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
This position would be ideal for a Fabric Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on working closer to home. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £32,000 with a potential route into further career progression.
Hours of Work & Package Information

• Basic Salary of up to £32,000

• 1 in 4 Call Out Rota - £105 per week standby allowance
  \n
\n
• Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:00pm
  \n
\n
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities

\n
• General fabric repairs
  \n
\n
• Furniture moves porterage
  \n
\n
• Painting & Decorating
  \n
\n
• Basic lighting
  \n
\n
• Fixing Furniture
  \n
\n
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
  \n
\n
• Maintain and update Log books
  \n
\n
• Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
  \n
\n
• Escort sub-contractors
  \n
\n
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
