Multiskilled Engineer Required (ELectrical/Mechanical)
\nArea: Otterbourne (SO 21)

\nGeneral Overview:
\nThe primary purpose of the role is to carry out both planned preventative maintenance and reactive call outs on a wide variety of Mechanical and Electrical Buildings Services Engineering plant, ensuring all activities are completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the contracted output specifications and company processes and procedures. This includes Legionella control and monitoring activities, fire alarm testing and participating in an out of hours call out rota.
\nEnsure that routine PPM is carried out to all mechanical and electrical plant in accordance with Site task schedules and CAFM.
\nEnsure that reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
\nEnsure that plant faults and defects are always swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
\nEnsure that all relevant paperwork / CAFM is completed regarding PPM, reactive works and that it is passed without delay to the Helpdesk Team.
\nEnsure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are always prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
\nEnsure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To include the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times.
\nEnsure up to date site log books kept at all times & signing in and out process followed at all times
\nEnsure that all plant rooms are kept in a clean and tidy condition.
\nSupervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.
\nTo arrange and provide holiday and sickness cover at short notice and be flexible in their working patterns.
\nEnsure assigned tasks are actioned and completed as appropriate.
\nEnsure an awareness and compliance to the contractual KPI's/SLA's.
\nEnsure CAFM system, e.g. PlanOn, is kept up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
\nTo operate a Permit to Work System in accordance with company's Technical and SHEQ processes and client requirements (or approved client system).
\nTo carry out any other task as directed by the account management team.
\nThe position will require you to provide engineering support in emergency situations to ensure business and operational continuity.

\n· Base Electrical Qualification C&G Part A and B OR C&G 236 Pt 1 & Pt 2
\n· C&G#####0 Level 2 and 3 OR AM1 & AM2 OR C&#####60 Pt1 & Pt 2
\n· 18th Edition C&#####382 - 18
\n· C&am#####2391 or 2394/2395
\n\nElectrical Competency NICEIC Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification.
\nMechanical
\n· BTEC Level 3 Certification in Mechanical Engineering OR
\n· BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR
\n· BTEC Level 3 in HVAC
\n· C&G 6188 Level 2 Heating and Ventilation OR
\n· C&G 7188 Level 3
\n· Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems
\nExperienced in Plumbing system Maintenance and fault rectification.
