Mobile Plant Engineer

The job will involve maintenance, repairs, servicing, and fault finding in hydraulics, pneumatics, diesel and petrol engines at customer sites around Kent and Essex. The machines will include but not be limited to Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers, and Forklifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Carry out servicing & maintenance of construction plant and equipment on customers sites around the South East (Kent/Essex etc)


• Fault finding and repairs of construction plant and equipment on customers sites


• Complete all paperwork as required for jobs


• Maintain company vehicle and equipment supplied

All applicants must:

• Be a qualified or time served Plant Engineer with at least 2 years of field service engineer experience


• Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision


• Hold a full UK driving licence


• Must have a good understanding of electrics & hydraulics


• Ability to use diagnostic equipment (full training given if required) to complete fault finding


• Be a good team player


• Be polite and customer focused


• Self-motivated and have excellent communication skills


• Flexible attitude who is able to work alone and as part of a team
