As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Mobile Plant Fitter to join their expanding team.

About the Role:

As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance a fleet of heavy plant machinery. This includes diggers, dumpers, and telehandlers, with capacities of up to 14 tonnes. Your responsibilities will include servicing, repairing, and maintaining machinery at customer sites, handling breakdowns, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery up to 14 tonnes.
• Attend to machinery breakdowns at customer sites across Southampton and surrounding areas.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
• Diagnose faults and perform necessary mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
• Welding and fabrication work as required (desirable).

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a plant fitter within the plant industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults in heavy machinery.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Welding experience is desirable.
• A valid driving license is required.
