Salary: £38k Basic, OTE £50k

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Tester to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to identify and report on potential hazards and compliance issues.

Key Responsibilities:
\n
\n- Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
\n- Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
\n- Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
\n- Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.
\n- Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations.
\n- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and best practices.
\n- Communicate effectively with clients to explain findings, answer questions, and provide technical advice.
\n- Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required.
\n- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety protocols at all times.
\n- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills.

Qualifications:
\n
\n- A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical inspection or a related field.
\n- City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
\n- NVQ Level 3
\n- 18th Edition
\n- In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
\n- Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
\n- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting.
\n- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
\n- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
\n- Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).
\n
