Mobile Vehicle Technician (No Weekends)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mobile Vehicle Technician to join a leading automotive service provider. Covering the Bedford area, this is a full-time, permanent role with working hours of Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:30 pm (NO WEEKENDS) and a competitive salary starting from £34,000, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Inspection & Maintenance - Ensure roadworthiness and reliability in line with DVSA standards.
• Diagnostics & Repairs - Use dealer-level and generic diagnostic equipment to perform efficient repairs.
• Manufacturer Standards - Complete repairs and maintenance following manufacturer guidelines.
• Customer Interaction - Discuss required repairs with customers and provide accurate time/cost estimates.
• Health & Safety Compliance - Maintain safe working practices in line with company policies.
• Administrative Duties - Complete job cards, maintenance records, and associated paperwork to a high standard.
• Stock Control - Assist with regular stock checks as per company policy.

What You'll Need:

• Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) OR relevant time-served experience.
• A full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience in interim, full, and major servicing, as well as repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension, steering components, air conditioning service, etc.).
