MoD/Gov Systems Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of Satellite Communications and IT managed solutions, specialising in secure, bespoke services for the Government and Defence sectors. With extensive experience in delivering technical solutions, they meet the rigorous requirements of MoD and other government agencies.
Main Purpose of the Job:
* Design and configure MoD/Gov projects according to specifications
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful delivery
* Test and evaluate new equipment as needed
* Deliver assigned projects within agreed timeframes and specifications
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare technical documentation and drawings
* Verify technical equipment and software to meet project specifications
* Provide on-site support for projects when required
* Define IP structures and equipment specifications for new projects
* Support customer meetings and technical proposals
* Participate in the MoD/Gov engineer rota for project support
* Deliver training on new systems and liaise with MoD/Gov agencies as required
Key Skills & Qualifications:
* Must be eligible for or hold SC or DV Security Clearance
* ICT and Satellite communications experience highly desirable
* Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) required, Juniper experience beneficial
* Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Flexible and proactive approach to meeting customer needs
