We are seeking an experienced�Manger to lead our dedicated team of practioners and oversee the day to day operations of the nursery. The sucessful candidate will embody the Montessori approach while ensuring outstanding educational standards, safeguarding, and bussiness excelence.



Key Responsibilities�




  • Provide insperational leadership and management to a team of�educators

  • Ensure implementation of the Montessori philosophy throughout the setting

  • Maintain high standards of care and education in line with EYFS requirements and Montessori priciples�

  • Oversee staff recruitment, training and professional development

  • Ensure all regulatory and legal requirements are met, includeing Ofsted standards

  • Implement effective safeguarding procedures and policies



Essential Requirements




  • Level 3 or above in Early Years/ Childcare management

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior position in a childcare setting

  • strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health and safety regulations�

  • Business acumen with experience of budget management

  • Experience with SEN provision



Desirable Qualifications




  • Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) / Qualified Teachers Status (QTS)

  • Montessori Teaching Diploma (International Montessori Diploma or equivalent)

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education

  • Quality improvement experience and knowledge of Ofsted inspection process



Working Hours�



Monday to Friday 40 plus hours a week, Year round (flexibility required for occasional evening events/parents consultations/ Social events organised for families over weekends)
