Salary: £28,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Location: Banbury

Full-Time position, Monday - Friday

An opportunity has arisen for Motor Vehicle Technician / Mechanic background in welding and part fabrication in a reputable vehicle repair centre. In this role you will conduct routine vehicle maintenance including servicing, tyre fitting, and brake inspections.

Our client specialises in servicing and repairing a diverse array of cars, 4x4s, and light commercial vehicles.

You will be responsible for:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of vehicles.
• Resolve issues related to engines, electrical systems, and transmissions.
• Perform welding and part fabrication as required.
• Utilise power tools and hand tools for vehicle disassembly and assembly.
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics for complex repairs.
• Maintain a tidy and organised workspace.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding repairs and address their queries.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as an Automotive Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Ideally have 3 years of relevant experience.
• In-depth mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Skilled in using both power and hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and schematics.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Must reside nearby to the job location.
