Job Title: Multi-skilled Engineer - Electrical
Location: York
Working Hours: Full time

Are you an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer with an electrical bias looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and deliver high-quality maintenance services to a range of FM clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM), inspections, and troubleshooting on electrical equipment, machinery, and systems.
  • Identifying and repairing reactive electrical faults, ensuring minimal downtime and
    maximising equipment efficiency.
  • Installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems, including lighting, power
    distribution, and control panels.
  • Collaborating with other maintenance team members to address electrical and
    mechanical issues.
  • Conduct plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, replacing pipes, and maintaining water systems.
  • Perform joinery work, including repairing doors, fittings, and other fixtures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recognised apprenticeship/industry qualification in Electrical Installation or
    Maintenance i.e. City & Guilds Level 3.
  • Up to date 18th edition I.E.E. wiring regulations.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician, preferably in an industrial or
    commercial setting within a facilities management organisation.
  • Level 2 in plumbing/Joinery
