Multi Skilled Engineer

If you are looking for a new Multi Skilled Engineer position within a family ran FMCG company than I have a brilliant opportunity.�

The role itself is a days only position working 48hrs a week (Monday to Friday)�in a very friendly team. You will get 1 day off from Monday to Thursday with no expectation to work but overtime is available if required. You will be supporting with PPM's, Reactive breakdowns & Projects.�

This is a fast paced environment so FMCG experience is preferred due to working on a timescale is essential.�

Main Duties:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, completing documentation and service logs.


• Ensure all plant and equipment is fit for purpose from a health and safety perspective.� Identify any risks and take appropriate action, including guarding, lifting equipment etc.


• Identify and select critical spares to minimise business interruptions.


• Locate and rectify the source of problems by observing mechanical devises in operation.


• Control downtime through efficient communications with Production Managers and Supervisors.


• Fabricate repair parts as required with machine shop equipment.


• Reporting of any identified abuse or misuse which comes to light through maintenance activities, ensuring corrective action is taken.


• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.


• Provision of out of hours support through team call out arrangement, working night shifts if required.


• Any other reasonable duty as and when required by Management.
