Multi-Skilled Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for Multi-Skilled Engineer to work in their leading facility in Suffolk.

For the successful Multi-Skilled Engineer our client is offering:

• £40,000 - £43,500 per annum
• 8 hour Double Day shift (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm) Monday to Friday
• Permanent
• 28 days of holiday including bank holidays rising to 33 
  
• Company Pension

The role - Multi-Skilled Engineer:

• Deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and reactive and efficient breakdown service on operational equipment
• Work to set a program of preventative and autonomous maintenance
• Supporting role with C.I. projects and refurbishment as required
• Reactive to breakdowns as required by shift team leader
• To work as part of a team and using your own initiative in both planned and emergency breakdown situations

What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Engineer:

• Qualified in at least one core discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) and a strong understanding of a second - Essential
• Experience of production equipment including maintenance and refurbishment - Essential
• Knowledge of plastics manufacturing industry - Desirable
• Engineering background / mechanical aptitude
