Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias

Salary: £42,000 per annum

Location: North Aberdeenshire

Hours: 40 hours per week, various shift patterns, with occasional overtime required

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our engineering team within the FMCG Sector . You will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our production equipment, supporting both production and engineering functions while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure equipment reliability and performance.


• Diagnose and repair equipment faults with a high standard of technical skill.


• Optimize equipment performance to enhance product quality.


• Support and train operators and apprentices as needed.


• Collaborate with the project team on new equipment implementation.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering.


• Experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment, preferably in food or drink manufacturing.


• Proficiency in electrical fault finding, repair, and installation.


• Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems, and industrial electrical systems.


• Basic IT skills and understanding of maintenance techniques.
