Kenect Recruitment are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer for our client based in Llangadog, Wales

The Company

Due to continued business growth and expansion, our client is looking to recruit two Multi Skills Engineers who have previous experience providing both Electrical and Mechanical support to the onsite operation. These are fantastic opportunities for someone who is looking for a new opportunity and is wanting to join a growing business on a permanent basis.

Job Responsibilities:

The main function and responsibility of the Multi Skilled Engineer will be to provide both Mechanical and Electrical support to the site operation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment providing both electrical and mechanical engineering support.

• Providing breakdown cover and completing planned preventative maintenance on a busy production site.
• Maintaining plant machinery, conveyors, robotics, inverter drives, motors, sensors and more.
• Supporting / completing Motor Swaps
• Maintain all relevant paperwork and prepare notes for handovers at the end of each shift.
• Fault investigation (up to PLC level
• Accurate logging of faults into internal system for future monitoring purposes
• Assisting In 3 phase installation and maintenance of production equipment.
• Some fabrication duties could be involved, e/g making brackets / general repair work
• Providing updates onsite regarding machinery / maintenance.
• Daily Mechanical maintenance of Robots / conveyor systems and other machinery.
• Reading and interpreting technical

Successful candidates will be required to:-

• Have 17th / 18th edition electrical qualifications
• Be able to work a 3 shift rotational job
• Be able to work on own initiative
• have had at least 2 years experience working as a multi skilled engineer.

This role is based on a 3 shift rotation of Mornings, Afternoons and Nights

Salary is £48,000 P/A

This is position is a permanent role and the client are looking to hold interviews ASAP.
