Multi Skilled Engineer

We are seeking a highly capable Maintenance Engineer for a weekend role. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of machinery and equipment within our FMCG environment.

Description

• Undertaking routine maintenance and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Overseeing the installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Identifying potential improvements to increase efficiency.
• Collaborating with the wider Engineering & Manufacturing team.
• Documenting all maintenance and repair work.
• Assisting with training of junior staff members.
• Responding promptly to any machinery breakdowns.

Profile

A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:

• A strong background in Engineering & Manufacturing.
• Proven experience in a similar FMCG role.
• An excellent understanding of health and safety regulations.
• Demonstrable ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
