Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Purpose:

We require an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance and Engineering Department responsible for routine asset care across varied plant machinery. This role demands proficiency in electrical and mechanical disciplines, including machine monitoring and adjustments during production to optimise efficiency and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe and efficient operations in compliance with Health and Safety regulations.


• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve plant issues methodically to minimise downtime.


• Support production processes post-resolution to maintain efficient operations.


• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance line performance.


• Perform routine maintenance tasks independently and maintain a clean work environment.


• Conduct regular checks and adjustments on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.


• Uphold product quality standards during engineering activities.

Skills and Experience:

• Technical engineering skills with industry experience.


• GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent), NVQ 3, City and Guilds, ONC/HNC preferred.


• Proactive with a strong attention to detail.


• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and motivation.
