County Durham
Continental Shift Pattern (Du Pont)
£46-48k + OT + Bonus
Jackson Hogg is supporting a well established Engineering firm in County Durham in support of their search for an Electrical Maintenance Technician. A very busy environment, this role is key to maintaining the site and delivering on a key new maintenance strategy.
With new leadership and a revised strategy in place, this is an exciting opportunity to get involved in a new chapter of the company’s growth and development.
Working in a fast-moving environment, the position requires a high level of technical understanding and competence. You will be involved with:
* PLC Fault Finding
* Site Installs and Commissioning of electrical systems
* Wiring, Inspections and Testing
* 3 Phase systems and basic Programming and Modding
* Maintenance Project Work
* Basic Mechanical work – Conveyors and Cutting Machines
The ideal candidate will be fully time served (ideally electrically) and have experience within a fast moving and/or Heavy Engineering type environment. Candidates must be competent with PLCs and have the ability to Fault Find on them.
This role follows a continental shift pattern rotating days and nights. There are significant amounts of additional overtime on offer as well as a site wide bonus program. Recent changes in leadership means the site is going in a new and exciting strategic direction with maintenance at the forefront of this drive!
