The Role:
My client is seeking a motivated Multi-Skilled Operative to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work across a variety of tasks, including adaptive works for social housing, commercial and residential fit-out projects, and facility management duties. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth completion of tasks, adhering to timelines, and maintaining high-quality standards in every aspect of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out adaptive works for social housing (e.g., disability adaptations, grab rails, access ramps).
- General construction fit-out work including skirting, flooring, and interior finishes.
- Facility management tasks such as snagging, filler work, and minor repairs.
- Perform general maintenance and repairs as required in both residential and commercial settings.
- Ensure high-quality standards are met in every task, while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Respond efficiently to emergency call-outs and work orders, ensuring prompt completion.
- Collaborate with the site manager, tradespeople, and contractors to ensure smooth operations on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar multi-skilled role within construction or facility management.
- Strong skills in snagging, skirting, filler work, flooring, and general repairs.
- Knowledge of adaptive works for social housing is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of work.
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Full UK driving license.
