Job Title: Multi-Trade Maintenance Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Summary: My client is seeking an experienced Multi-Trade Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations within there facilities. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring all maintenance activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of multi-trade maintenance technicians (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal facility performance.
  • Coordinate and supervise all maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor budget and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas needing repair or improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and provide support.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-trade systems and maintenance best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or related fields are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
