Multi Trade Operative- Joiner

PPM Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a Multi skilled Joiner for one of our clients based in Swindon

Duties and respnsabilities

• Boxing in of pipework
• Joinery including shelving to cupboards, skirting boards, refitting wall units
• Patch plastering
• Brickwork
• Laying concrete slabs/ trenches for oil lines
• Fitting electric fire suites
• Fitting pipework/ radiators/ valves/ condenses
• Building work following solid fuel recommendations
• Ensuring all works are carried out to a high standard
• Completion of all relevant paperwork
• Ensure customer satisfaction and safety
• Participate in out of hour's works
• Work to operational procedures, safe working practices and H&S procedures
• Reporting of all accidents, near miss events or potential hazards
• Undertake all other maintenance works within remit
• Work flexibly with a diverse range of customers

What are we looking for in our ideal Multi Trade Engineer:

• Experience of working as a Multi Trade engineer
• Competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline
• Plastering trade discipline (desirable), experience essential
• Ability to carry out multi skill trades
• Housing Association experience is essential
• Hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and have own tools
• Understanding of gas legislation
• Understanding of Health and Safety and working to best practice
• Full driving license
