Salary: £34,000 plus van and fuel card

The Company:

Build recruitment are working on behalf of a MOD contractor to recruit an experienced multi trade operative in Cornwall to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an great opportunity to join a large, local employer on a permanent basis on a very secure housing contract. A company vehicle and fuel card are provided, along with a excellent benefits package.

We are looking for an experienced carpenter multi trade to provide a repairs and maintenance service across MOD accommodation in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

Inclusion in the on call/ emergency call out rota is required and you will be paid extra to your salary for this service.

We are looking for an experienced multi trade with good carpentry and plumbing skills, plus also skilled in small patch plastering jobs, painting, tiling, UPVC window and door repairs, fencing, plus general outdoor and building maintenance.

Day to Day:

• Repairs and maintenance to domestic properties
• Carpentry, small plumbing jobs, small plastering jobs, tiling and other associated work.
• Working alone or as part of a small team
• Providing assistance with a range of extra trades including basic carpentry repairs, patch plastering, decorating, UPVC window and door repairs
• Providing a friendly and professional service

Requirements:

• A NVQ in carpentry or plumbing is preferred but time served experience will be considered
• A full UK driving licence
• You will be required to undertake MOD vetting
