Multi Trade Operative

We are looking for a Multi Trade operative in the Ely, Cambridgeshire area to work for a highly established social housing company in the area. The position would be a permanent role and would involve working within social housing doing renovations and maintenance covering Ely and the surrounding areas.
The successful Multi trade operative will be responsible for:

• Working in void and tenanted properties
• Working individually and as part of a team when required
• Call outs on a rota basis
• Carry out fault fixing, construction, maintenance duties
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and in good condition
• Provide accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
• Working 8-4:30 Monday to Friday

The successful Multi trade operative will:

• Be NVQ Level 2 qualified in a core subject (carpentry/ plumbing/ electrical) NVQ Level 3 if Plumbing is qualification
• Aware of Health and Safety Regulation
• Skills in carpentry, plumbing and decorating
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Full UK drivers license
