We are looking for a Multi Trade Operative to join our team based in Sheffield and surrounding areas. Please note, you may be required to work further afield as the contract demands. All travel times will be considered as part of working hours. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £34,067.75 plus on target earnings. With company van, fuel card plus excellent benefits!.

Responsibilities for this Multi Trade Operative role are:

\n

\n
• Repair /renew/ fit roofing trusses for traditional, hips and valleys and repair/ renew/fit soffit fascia and barge boards
\n
• Repair/ renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T and G or sheet flooring
\n
• Repair/ renew doors and door casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panelling
\n
• Repair/ renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishes
\n
• Repair/ replace/ fit ironmongery to doors and windows
\n
• Repair/ renew timber and UPVC window frames
\n
• Reglaze timber fencing and gates
\n
• Multi trade skilled operative and capable of complete works in other construction
\n
• trades including patching, plastering, wall and floor tiling and minor plumbing activities
\n

\n

What we are looking for in our ideal Multi Trade Operative:

\n

Must have time served or completed a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3). Experience of working as a Multi Trade Joiner/Plumber and the installation of wet rooms & Disabled adaptions.

\n

Competent in all aspects of the Joiner and/or Plumbing trade discipline. Plastering trade discipline (desirable).

\n

Ability to carry out multi skill trades, and core joinery or plumbing and experience working within a social housing environment (desirable).

\n

Driving licence is essential.

\n

Skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness and have own tools.
