Multimodal Freight Coordinator - Sutton Coldfield - Up to �32,000

A well-established, reputable UK based multimodal freight forwarder specialising in logistics, e-commerce and warehousing are looking for a multimodal Freight Coordinator, who specialises in all Things Sea, air & road from start to finish.

This role will be based at their operation in Sutton Coldfield

Job Type - Full time-Permanent

Salary: Up to �32,000 (Dependant on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the importation & Exportation of goods via Air, road & Sea freight.
• As a Multimodal Freight Coordinator, you will deal with all aspects of imports & exports across Sea, road &air freight, managing the entire life cycle.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless coordination of import & Export activities.
• Communicate and liaise with overseas agents, carriers, and clients.

Requirements:

• Air, road or sea experience is an essential requirement for this role.
• Arrange and process imports & Exports- Including customs clearance
• Proficiency in using freight forwarding software.
• knowledge of customs regulations
• Must have experience with a UK based freight forwarder.
