Multi-Skilled Night Engineer

Location: Fleetwood
Salary: 50k-53k depending on experience
Hours: 9pm-7am - Monday-Thursday

My client, a leading manufacturer known for its high-quality products and commitment to excellence. They are looking for a skilled Multi-Skilled Night Engineer to join their engineering team and help maintain and improve their production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults (80% mechanical, 20% electrical).
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Work on a range of equipment, including packaging machinery (vertical bagging experience desirable).
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure good housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Assist with training and mentoring apprentices as needed.

About You:

• Time-served engineer or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a packaging environment (vertical bagging experience desirable).
• Familiarity with Revima equipment (desirable but not essential).
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production setting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
