Would you like to give thousands of children their first experience of live music? br Imagine the person who inspired you to be a musician, this role makes you that person every day. br Read on for more information about this exciting role as a Rocksteady Brand Representative. br The Role br Deliver music assemblies and workshops in primary schools across the UK br Excite and inspire children aged 4-11 to want to learn an instrument in a rock band br You will perform daily in front of the most energised and captivating audience in the world - Children br Create lasting relationships with the school's staff br Ensure a smooth experience for new schools starting our lessons br Skills and Experience br Multi-instrumentalist - skilled on at least 3 of: drums, guitar, keyboard and vocals br Have excellent communication and social abilities with both children and adults br Dynamic, confident and approachable br Thrive on performing and public speaking br Personable and people focused br Sales experience preferred, but not a requirement (we provide training) br Comfortable working independently br Have a full UK driving licence and own transport br Benefits br Full-time salary position br Monday – Friday daytime only br Fuel package included br 12 weeks paid holiday per year. br Full training in our assembly and workshop delivery br Benefits package including discounts on everyday purchases, free 24/7 GP service and more. br Employee discount at nationwide music instrument retailers br A positive and welcoming work environment with celebratory staff away-days, Christmas parties and opportunities to socialise with other like-minded musicians. br Opportunities to work with the Rocksteady Foundation, reaching children and young people in charities and support groups across the UK. br Our Mission br Rocksteady is the largest rock school in the world and our mission is simple - To empower as many children as possible and transform their lives through progressive and inclusive music education which directly improves their wellbeing, confidence, and life skills br Additional Information br We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and expect all our staff to share this commitment. br As this role involves regular work with children and young people, and meets the definition of regulated activity, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
