Music Teacher

Are you a passionate and creative Music Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of musicians? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join this school, delivering engaging and high-quality music lessons to pupils across Key stages 3 and 4. This role beings April 2025.

Duties as a Music Teacher:

• Plan and deliver inspiring music lessons that develop pupils’ musical skills, creativity, and appreciation.
\n
• Teach a broad range of musical styles, instruments, and vocal techniques.
\n
• Organise and lead school performances, concerts, and extracurricular music activities.
\n
• Encourage pupils’ confidence and participation in music through engaging lessons and activities.
\n
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback and support.
\n
• Maintain and manage musical instruments and equipment.
\n
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the school’s music curriculum.
\n

Ideal Music Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant music teaching qualification.
\n
• Experience teaching music in a school or educational setting.
\n
• Ability to teach a range of musical instruments and vocal techniques.
\n
• A passion for music education and inspiring young learners.
\n
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
\n
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
