This role is Hybrid - Site/remote and customer visits

We are looking for someone who can develop our current customer accounts and also bring new business to the table.We have aggressive growth plans and as our new National Account Manager you will play a big part in our future success.
You will be joining a commercial team of 4. Customer visits, engagement and an understanding of the market will be key to delivering in this new role.
The Company
Pro-Pak Foods is a well-respected producer of chilled ready meals and protein products, supplying into major multiples, discounters and convenience retailers and is part of the CPC Foods Group.
As our new National Account Manager your role will include:
Establish direction by developing strategies to attain long term goals
Develop and implement agreed JBPs that deliver volume and contribution
Develop and implement Strategic Category plans for key accounts
Develop and deliver commercial proposals and category insights to customers’ buying teams
Plan and negotiate promotional plans to drive profitable incremental sales
Interpret food trends and competitor performance to support initiatives that will enhance your customer’s performance
Lead the day-to-day interface with the customer. Form and develop collaborative relationships with relevant elements of the business
Work closely with Marketing and NPD teams to develop commercially viable products and product ranges in line with customer or internal briefs
Manage internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate, effective and timely communication of any commercial activity that impacts on the overall site performance
Play a lead role in generating business development opportunities in new categories through the generation of strong insights and customer and category-led development plans
Skills and experience required:
Relevant experience within a similar role within an FMGC
Passionate about food
Good with data and strong written communication skills
A comprehensive knowledge of all commercial aspects of food manufacturing and proactive approach to business issues
Strong commercial knowledge with established relationships and experience with major retailers
Strong presentation skills
A team player with a flexible approach to work
Organisational and project management skills to assist with critical path deadlines and project priorities
