National Account Manager (Food Sector) br br Experience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below. br Malton, North Yorkshire. br Salary offered will be based on experience br Are you a proven achiever who can demonstrate successfully growing sales within the food sector? br We are looking for someone who can develop our current customer accounts and also bring new business to the table.We have aggressive growth plans and as our new National Account Manager you will play a big part in our future success. br You will be joining a commercial team of 4 based at our offices in Malton. Customer visits, engagement and an understanding of the market will be key to delivering in this new role. br The Company br Pro-Pak Foods is a well-respected producer of chilled ready meals and protein products, supplying into major multiples, discounters and convenience retailers and is part of the CPC Foods Group. br As our new National Account Manager your role will include: br Establish direction by developing strategies to attain long term goals br Develop and implement agreed JBPs that deliver volume and contribution br Develop and implement Strategic Category plans for key accounts br Develop and deliver commercial proposals and category insights to customers’ buying teams br Plan and negotiate promotional plans to drive profitable incremental sales br Interpret food trends and competitor performance to support initiatives that will enhance your customer’s performance br Lead the day-to-day interface with the customer. Form and develop collaborative relationships with relevant elements of the business br Work closely with Marketing and NPD teams to develop commercially viable products and product ranges in line with customer or internal briefs br Manage internal stakeholders to ensure the accurate, effective and timely communication of any commercial activity that impacts on the overall site performance br Play a lead role in generating business development opportunities in new categories through the generation of strong insights and customer and category-led development plans br Skills and experience required: br Relevant experience within a similar role within an FMGC br Passionate about food br Good with data and strong written communication skills br A comprehensive knowledge of all commercial aspects of food manufacturing and proactive approach to business issues br Strong commercial knowledge with established relationships and experience with major retailers br Strong presentation skills br A team player with a flexible approach to work br Organisational and project management skills to assist with critical path deadlines and project priorities br What we can offer you: br Salary offered will be based on experience br Company car allowance br 33 days’ holiday with an option to buy up to 5 more br Leadership Development Programme br Access to GroceryAid, which provides emotional, practical and financial support br Benefits and recognition hub, including amazing colleague discounts
