Shred-it, the name synonymous with top-notch secure information destruction and data protection services, is on the hunt for a talented and driven National Sales Executive that will be responsible for winning new national account customers for our Shred-it business in the UK.
We deal in _*information security and document destruction*_ solutions, that means we help businesses and consumers mitigate the ongoing threats and risks of workplace privacy breaches through our technologies, protocols and practices, and innovative products and services.

*Key Responsibilities: *
* You'll need to create a pipeline of large customer opportunities in this segment with a focus on Global or European companies where the decision maker is based in the UK.
* You’ll focus on new services sales opportunities, self-generated/allocated by management.
* You’ll grow new services revenue, while managing the entire sales cycle (prospecting, proposals, contracts, and new service implementations); this role will have you build and manage strong client relationships by utilizing our security audit and consultative sales processes.
* You’ll provide input to corporate planning for targeted clients; You’ll evaluate and define the long-term potential of these clients, with corporate involvement, taking into consideration key business elements.
* You’ll collaborate with districts/regions/senior management/marketing to assist with the facilitation of new programs, campaigns and offerings, as required.
* You’ll provide regular updates to SFDC and the departments sales funnel; you’ll record and report all activity required by management.
* You’ll remain current with external conditions (clients, competitors, business trends, new business developments, service rates and practices) with the purpose to optimize Shred-it in the marketplace.
* You’ll assists National Accounts Sales Manager with projects as required or requested.
*To succeed in the role:*
* You have significant & demonstrable experience and success in direct and indirect sales with a focus on business development and emerging markets.
* You can successfully work independently, with minimum direction, possessing strong account management skills.
* You possess a good understanding of CRM systems (like Salesforce, LinkedIn and Endole) and you’re proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; these tools will be used in developing and implementing sales strategies for Corporate Account prospects.
* You’ll have a clear, tried, and tested Sales Process when identifying new clients and you’ll be able to use this to convert a prospect into active spending account and have a real interest in staying current on industry trends and financials.
