Brief: Exciting opportunity representing a major smartphone & IoT manufacturer in the UK. This role will be to drive and inspire the national field sales team. You will be tasked with inspiring your team to drive brand awareness and ultimately sales across the UK retailers. This role should appeal to candidates with both sales and excellent project planning experience, a passion for technology, forward thinking out the box ideologies and be someone not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. This role is hybrid based and will require travel around the UK (80%) visiting your sales managers and your own small selection of stores. You will also be required to occasionally visit the UK office in London or work from home (20%)Objective: Hit the number – Grow sales within the retail footprint. Making sure you can keep a close eye on the detail of each individual team members targets and teams’ overall sales contribution to the business. Doing this whilst supporting the brand to spread the word about our fantastic brand through brand awareness activities and programmes.Brand Awareness – Help the brand increase brand awareness through ambassador programmes within Retail and Contact Centres. Be the owner and key stake holder in the planning and execution of the programme with channel partners. Responsibilities: Planning Execution – Own the process! From start to finish you will oversea the delivery of the end results of the field sales team across Retail and contact centre activity. Project management and exceptional planning and preparation skills are a must. Working with Channel stakeholders across multiple areas – Retail, Contact Centre & Brand Ambassador programmes to ensure our brand is kept top of mind and exploring every possible opportunity with our channel partners. Be the leader you’d want – We are looking for an exceptional individual who recognises and celebrates the success of their team and aims to inspire them to be the best version of themselves every day at work. An individual who can pass on both guidance and development to their team to build a best-in-class retail team. Lead by example – We are looking for someone who can lead by example and take the bull by the horns. Someone who has past sales and training experience and a real passion to drive the number. The successful candidate will have a small selection of stores they will spend up to 2 days a week visiting to drive the sales in key opportunity stores and show the rest of the sales team what excellence looks like. Data Driven – The perfect candidate will be able to read and understand reporting data and identify opportunities to help grow the business off the back of it. Someone who can look at the bigger picture and drive success through data and relationships. Flexible Mindset – whilst we are in our growing phase, the successful candidate will need to be flexible with their day-to-day role. One day they could be in stores training, the next day out upskilling a team member and by the Friday in an executive country level meeting adding value to the business with the retail management outlook perspective. Building Relationships – comes natural and easy to you. Your outgoing personality is a beacon for interaction with new people daily. Your experience will allow you to communicate on many levels from retail stores to executive HQ level staff.
