We have an exciting opportunity to join the UKs leading agricultural food supply chain business as we are looking for a National Technical Manager to join the Frontier team, homebased on a permanent, full-time basis.
You will lead on the implementation and delivery of a technical strategy that supports the delivery of the combinable seeds portfolio and budget.

About You
The ability to demonstrate commercial awareness
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to impact at every level
Ability to build outstanding professional relationships with customers and colleagues through a collaboratively approach
High level of skill in critically evaluating situations and making decisions
Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy are essential
Good working experience of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
Excellent organisational skills, including prioritising workloads, meeting deadlines and managing a varied workload in a busy environment
Effective presentation skills
Proven experience of working within a technical role in an agricultural environment
Previous field agronomy and seed experience
Registered BASIS and FACTS qualifications
Focused on using skills, training and experience to the benefit of the Frontier & customer
Flexible approach to work and managing changing priorities whilst still providing a responsive customer focussed service
Your Role
As a National Technical Manager your role will involve:
With the seeds leadership team, develop and implement a technical strategy that supports the delivery of the seeds strategy and budget.
Lead and deliver the technical strategy for the combinable seeds business.
Lead all technical communicationwithin the relevant teams and the boarder business relating to the combinable seeds product line
Create clear, effective and supportive technical data to deliver industry leading technical marketing to UK farmers
Collaborate across the business to maximise Frontiers unique input and output business model.
With the seeds team develop and lead relationships with downstream customers to enable clear positioning of varieties in the market
Engage with the Heads of Commercial to ensure strategic technical direction on product pipelines
Work collaboratively with the technical team to maximise timely delivery of required knowledge exchange
Work closely with the trials team to deliver variety trials to support and compliment commercial campaigns
Working closely with Regional Sales Leaders in providing technical support and advice to their teams
To provide in season summaries and updates on trials, including short videos and blogs
Provide written PR opportunities to demonstrate levels of expertise on all combinable crops for the Frontier Website, blogs and external publications
Develop a strong understanding of all departments delivering Frontiers Sustainable Crop Production programme, supporting the delivery of key messaging to the commercial teams
Support in producing and delivering technical strategy information to agronomy teams.
