NDT Inspector (Level 2) -Interesting new opportunity within this established aerospace precision engineering company as they develop their NDT capabilities. We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector with Level 2 certification in (MPI) magnetic particle inspection to join this successful manufacturing team in the aerospace industry. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on aerospace components to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform magnetic particle inspections on aerospace components to detect surface and near-surface defects.
Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine the quality and integrity of materials.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address any quality issues and ensure timely resolution.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while conducting inspections.
Stay current on industry trends and advancements in NDT technology.
Qualifications:
Level 2 certification in magnetic particle inspection
Previous experience working in the aerospace industry preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of NDT principles, techniques, and equipment
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
